About us
Klipbokkop, owned by the Groenewald Family, obtained the mountain farm in 1994, after which the resort was opened to the public in 1998. At Klipbokkop we strive to instil not only a greater appreciation for and awareness of the environment, the vegetation (fynbos), the plants and the animals, but also the responsibility of using vehicles in a sensitive eco-system. Klipbokkop was developed and is managed with a commitment to promote responsible and environmentally friendly tourism, and strives to attract and influence like-minded visitors.
Klipbokkop is a magnificent and majestic reserve set on the slopes of the Stettyn Mountains. It is a hidden gem, that provides sanctuary for several endangered species, and where the Fynbos shows its true beauty and diversity. The splendid panorama of mountain ranges is present in all directions, and every valley is a treat for the eye. The beauty and tranquillity of Klipbokkop is indeed extraordinary and awe inspiring. An unforgettable experience.
